1 Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions purchased on QR Code King (qrcodeking.com) โ Weekly (โน151), Monthly (โน500) and Yearly (โน5,000) plans.
As QR Code King is a digital software service (SaaS), subscriptions provide immediate access to our platform, features and storage upon payment. Because digital services are consumed instantly upon activation, refunds are offered under specific and limited circumstances as described below.
By subscribing to any plan on QR Code King, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this Refund Policy. If you have any questions before subscribing, please email us at info@qrcodeking.com before making a payment.
2 Refund Policy by Plan
Each subscription plan has a different refund window based on its duration. Here is a quick summary:

3 Cases Eligible for Refund
You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following situations:
- Monthly Plan โ 3 day window: You subscribed to the Monthly plan, have not uploaded any documents and request a refund within 3 days of payment
- Yearly Plan โ 7 day window: You subscribed to the Yearly plan, have not substantially used the platform (less than 5 document uploads) and request a refund within 7 days of payment
- Platform technical failure: Our platform was completely non-functional for more than 48 continuous hours during your paid subscription period due to our technical failure โ you may claim a pro-rata refund for the downtime period
- Duplicate payment: You were accidentally charged twice for the same subscription in the same billing cycle โ full refund of the duplicate charge will be issued
- Unauthorised transaction: If you can demonstrate that a payment was made without your authorisation and you report it within 7 days of the transaction, we will investigate and process a refund if verified
- Account termination by us: If we terminate your account without cause and you have remaining paid subscription days, a pro-rata refund will be issued for unused days
All refund requests are reviewed individually. We may ask for additional information to verify your claim. Decisions are made within 3 working days of receiving your complete refund request.
4 Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following circumstances:
- Weekly Plan: The Weekly Plan (โน151) is non-refundable under any circumstances due to its short 7-day duration
- After refund window closes: Monthly plan requests after 3 days or Yearly plan requests after 7 days of purchase will not be processed
- Platform already used: If you have uploaded documents, generated QR codes or downloaded stickers during the subscription period
- Change of mind: Simply deciding you no longer want the service after using it does not qualify for a refund
- Forgot to cancel: Forgetting to cancel a subscription before a renewal is not grounds for a refund โ however, we send reminder emails 3 days before expiry
- Account terminated for violations: If your account was terminated due to violation of our Terms and Conditions, no refund will be issued
- Internet or device issues: Inability to use our platform due to your own internet connection, device or browser issues does not qualify for a refund
- Partial month use: There are no pro-rata refunds for partially used Monthly subscription periods beyond the 3-day window
Refunds will never be processed for accounts found to have uploaded fraudulent, fake or illegal documents. Such accounts will be permanently banned with no refund.
5 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps carefully. Incomplete requests will cause delays.
6 Refund Processing Timeline
Once a refund is approved by our team, here is the expected timeline:
Total refund time from request to credit: 5โ10 working days. Bank holidays and weekends may extend this timeline. If you have not received your refund after 10 working days from approval, please contact us immediately.
7 Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your QR Code King subscription at any time. Here is what happens when you cancel:
- No auto-renewal: Our subscriptions do not auto-renew by default. Your plan simply expires at the end of the paid period
- Access after cancellation: You retain full access to all features until the last day of your paid subscription period
- Documents after expiry: Your uploaded documents and QR codes remain stored for 30 days after subscription expiry. After 30 days, inactive accounts may have their documents archived
- QR codes after expiry: QR codes linked to your documents will show a "subscription expired" notice to scanners if your account is not renewed within 30 days
- How to cancel: Simply do not renew when your current plan expires, or email us at info@qrcodeking.com to request immediate account deactivation
- Data deletion on cancellation: If you want all your data and documents permanently deleted upon cancellation, email us with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
8 Failed or Disputed Payments
- Payment deducted but account not activated: If your UPI or PhonePe payment was deducted but your QR Code King account was not activated, contact us immediately at info@qrcodeking.com with your transaction ID. We will manually verify and activate your account within 4 working hours or issue a full refund
- Double charge: If you were charged twice for the same plan in the same billing cycle, we will refund the duplicate charge in full within 3 working days of confirmation
- Bank disputes: We strongly recommend contacting us directly before raising a chargeback or dispute with your bank. We are always willing to resolve issues fairly and directly. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in permanent account suspension
- UPI transaction failures: If a UPI transaction fails but money is debited, it is usually reversed automatically by your bank within 3โ5 working days. If not, contact your bank first. If the issue persists, contact us with proof
9 Plan Upgrades & Downgrades
- Upgrading plan: If you upgrade from Weekly to Monthly or Monthly to Yearly mid-cycle, we will apply a credit for your unused days toward the new plan โ no additional charge for the overlap period
- Downgrading plan: Downgrading to a lower plan takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refund is issued for the difference
- Switching plans: To switch plans, email us at info@qrcodeking.com before your next billing date and we will assist you personally
10 Refund Disputes
If your refund request is rejected and you believe our decision is incorrect, you may escalate the dispute as follows:
- Reply to our rejection email with additional supporting evidence or documentation
- Our senior team will re-review the case within 5 working days
- If still unresolved, disputes are subject to the laws of India and the jurisdiction of Indian courts as described in our Terms and Conditions
We always aim to resolve every dispute fairly. We have no interest in keeping money from users who have a genuine complaint โ our reputation depends on being honest and fair with every customer.
